Annie's Russelin' Leaves Cabins

View from porch and 'papa-bear' picnic area

Jack and Annie Drobisch welcome you to a very special place in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We absolutely love everything about Western North Carolina and make every effort to be sure you get the most out of your vacation or quick getaway. Whether your interests are cultural ... or horticultural ... you have found the ideal 'home base' to begin your explorations.

Our property is centrally located between Dupont State Forest (six miles) and Pisgah National Forest (four miles). The forests provide visitors with many mountain adventures. Come sit on the porch and watch Black Angus grazing in the valley beneath awesome mountain views. Sit around our campfire on a hand-crafted Papa-Bear picnic table and relax while talking about the beautiful waterfalls our area offers. If your into hiking or biking there are many miles of trails in our area. We are just a short drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway where you can really see it all. Our cabins are tucked away in the woods for the ultimate mountain experience but were still close to town.

When just hanging out and relaxin' wears you out...we are 10 minutes from downtown Brevard where you will find great dining, shopping, antiquing and special events at any time of the year. A wonderful small town with lots to offer.

Historic Hendersonville (20 minutes) offers many Main Street shops and restaurants sure to keep you busy. On-going events from Spring to Fall include Music on Main Street, car shows, apple festivals, garden shows... you will not be disappointed.

Asheville is an easy 40 minute drive. The Biltmore Estate, world class entertainment and night life grace this artistic, energetic, easy to access city.

Kids and dogs love us too! A spacious lawn highlighted by a large fire pit and hand-crafted 'papa bear' picnic table provides just the space and sunshine for kid-play. Fireflies are abundant in the summer and there's lots to do just minutes away: Sliding Rock in the Pisgah National Forest and tubing on the Davidson River. Bring the dog... we haven't met one yet that didn't leave with happy trails in their dreams.
